Cobind - Home

My new favorite Linux distribution is Cobind. It is Red Hat/Fedora Core-based. The installation can be accomplished with a single CD-ROM the ISO for which can be downloaded from the Cobind website. The default installation is quick and complete. I have installed the standard desktop distribution on an IBM Thinkpad T30 with no problems. As a matter of fact, I'm writing this from inside that installation.

Side note: Try Microsoft Virtual Machine for Windows on a 45 day trial. It's really just a preview of the virtualization software that will be included in future versions of Windows and it works very well for basic installations, testing, and trying out different configurations without destorying your data.
